“Lolth” project borns with the intention to give a soundtrack to a campaign played with an hypothetical Role Playing Game Fantasy. Musically, Lolth is the perfect alliance with the traditional fantasy culture and the technology of electro-music. The project combines different musical sorts, from the ethereal/ambient’s melodic armony to an harsh elecronic that sounds more industrial. What characterizes the project, more than the sound plot variety are the vocals, that use both the common/ordinary language (like English, Italian) and some tipically fantasy languages like Ogre or Elfic. Each Lolth album is a piece taken from a mosaic, if you join all of them they compose one of the more epic fantasy tale as ever!

“Drider Industries” (2006), it’s the first album taken from the “Half-demon Trilogy”. It’s a concept album that turns around a character called “Nyme”, an half-demon dark elf that decides to redeem himself fighting aginst the cruelty of the same descent and the same race that generated him. Fortunally, he will not be alone, but he’ll found strong allyes and sure he’ll can count upon them!

“Darthiir” (2008), it’s the second charpter of the already mentioned “Half-demon Trilogy”. This is a concept album too, where Nyme and his friends (Tulkas and Torvak the dwarves, Osaw the human and Nilya the elf) face the “Silent knife” sect, a majestic guild of thieves and killers placed in the bowels of Suzhail and that plots shady plans to conquer the whole Asran continent. Thanks to the divine help by some not totally earthly creatures like Engorg, the demon prisoned in the huge Nyme’s shield, the “soul-sucker” two-hand sword Osyluth, Nightfall the Dracolich and Zurm the vampire, finally they will get it, but a terrible question is waiting for our heroes at the end of the trip…who really is Nyme??

At the moment, the work for the third album are in progress, the one who concludes the trilogy and who reveals the mistery about the true Nyme identity. Moreover, it speaks about the encounter by our friends with some misterious new characters, like the “rocks-dwarf” Runnic, and the psionic “Life-sucker” vampire Master Psyphobia.

Il progetto Lolth nasce con l'intenzione di dare una colonna sonora ad una campagna giocata con un ipotetico Role Playing Game Fantasy. Musicalmente Lolth è il perfetto connubio tra il tradizionale gioco di ruolo Fantasy e la tecnologia della musica elettronica. Il progetto unisce diversi generi musicali che vanno dall’armonia melodica dell’ethereal/ambient fino a sonorità elettroniche più harsh/industrial. La cosa che caratterizza il progetto, oltre che la varietà delle trame sonore è il cantato che utilizza sia il linguaggio comune (come inglese o italiano), che linguaggi prettamente fantasy come l’elfico o l’orchesco. Ogni cd di Lolth è parte di un mosaico che unito agl’altri, vanno a comporre una delle più epiche storie fantasy di sempre.

“Drider Industries” risale al 2006 ed è il primo cd della “Trilogia del mezzo demone”. Tutto il disco è un concept cd che ruota attorno a “Nyme”, un elfo scuro mezzo demone, che decide di redimersi combattendo la malvagità del suo lignaggio e la stessa razza che lo ha generato. Fortunatamente non sarà solo, ma avrà dei validi alleati su cui contare.

“Darthiir” uscito nel 2008, è il secondo capitolo della già citata “Trilogia del mezzo demone” anche questo è un concept cd, in cui “Nyme” ed i suoi amici (i nani “Tulkas”e “Torvak”, l’umano “Osaw” e l’elfo “Nilya”), affrontano la setta del “Pugnale Silente”, una maestosa gilda di ladri e assassini situata nelle viscere di Suzhail e che trama loschi piani per conquistare l’intero continente di Arsan. Grazie all’aiuto divino di alcuni esseri non propriamente terreni come “Engorg”, il demone imprigionato nell’enorme scudo di Nyme, lo Spadone succhia anime “Osyluth”, il Dracolich “Nightfall” ed il Vampiro “Zurm”, riusciranno a sgominare la gilda, ma un terribile quesito attende i nostri eroi alla fine del viaggio…chi è realmente Nyme??

Attualmente è in fase di preparazione il terzo cd che conclude la trilogia e che svela il mistero sulla vera identità di Nyme e sull’incontro dei nostri amici con il vampiro/psionico “Psyphobia” e il nano delle rocce “Runnic”, altri eroi di altri tempi.

Finalmente ci stiamo organizzando per portare il Cyber/Fantasy di Lolth in spettacoli Live… se il fantasy e la musica elettronica sono il vostro pane quotidiano e/o la vostra fonte di vita, rimanete sintonizzati.
